A video of the moment a $140 million megayacht owned by Steve Jobs' widow crashed into another vessel owned by a Mexican telecom billionaire.
The costliest collision occurred between the 78-meter Venus, commissioned by the late Apple founder and now owned by Laurene Powell Jobs, and the 105-meter yacht Lady Moura, owned by Mexican billionaire businessman Ricardo Salinas.
The two airliners, which cost a combined $265 million, collided with each other after a fierce wind off the Italian coast of Naples put them on a collision course.
“ The yacht of Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple (now owned by his wife Laurene), hit us while we were anchored in front of Naples. I would like to know what the captain and crew were doing not seeing a yacht as big as mine ahead. Fortunately, nothing happened, but it is a visible scratch, which will cost a lot to fix ," writes Salinas.
