US President Donald Trump is moving warships and submarines as tensions along the axis between the United States and Venezuela rise.

In the past 24 hours, US Southern Command has dispatched three destroyers equipped with the Aegis missile system, the USS Gravely and USS Jason Dunham, which departed from Mayport, Florida, and the USS Sampson, which was stationed not far from the Panama Canal.

As analyst Ian Ellis reported, these ships are joined by the littoral combat ship USS Minneapolis-St. Paul, now stationed not far from the island of Curaçao.

According to a US official interviewed by Reuters, these assets are also being joined by P-8 Poseidon spy planes and at least one submarine.
