Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has confirmed that a person suspected of being an agent of the Albanian Intelligence Service has been arrested. Serbian media say that an IT expert has been arrested by the BIA, as he is suspected of being an Albanian spy.
Vučić said that the BIA Security and Information Agency will continue to do its work and there is no doubt that the influence and presence of various intelligence agencies and all other agencies from abroad has increased on the territory of Serbia.
Vucic said that he received a somewhat broader report and that this is a job for the BIA, but that there is no doubt that the presence of intelligence agencies has been increased "for understandable reasons."
" Our country is a country that does not fit into the molds of obedience and submission, our country is free and freedom-loving, our country is independent and our country makes decisions in accordance with the interests of our people and our citizens, and not in accordance with the dictates received from abroad ", emphasized Vučič.
