The race for the second round of elections in Turkey is intensifying, with verbal clashes between Erdogan and his opponent, Kilicdaroglu.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, after the songs at the rallies and the inauguration of the aircraft carriers, said that he receives instructions from Allah, accusing the opposition of receiving instructions from terrorists.
The Turkish president also referred to the economy, saying that if Allah wills, the country's foreign exchange reserves will also increase.
"Those of the opposition receive instructions from the terrorists who are on the Kandil mountain. While we receive guidance from Allah and from our people. This is our difference. Until today, this is what we have done and this is how we will continue.
To those who want to hand over the country's economy to the moneylenders of London and the technocrats of the IMF, our people responded and said: "Get out of here," he said, during a speech before the elections.
Erdogan won 49.62% in the first round, despite rising inflation and rapidly declining living standards for millions of his country's citizens.
Kemal Kilicdaroglu, who received 44.89% of the vote but not the "Turkish dream", overthrew Turkey's leader of more than 20 years, despite a faltering economy and strong international support for him.
This is the first time that the Turkish president will go to a second round (unlike the 2014 and 2018 presidential elections). People of all ages flocked from 8am to 5pm to around 200,000 polling stations across Turkish territory, with turnout at a record high of 93.6%, up 7.4% from the previous election.
