Biden reacts to the Iranian attack: the US will help Israel, they are sending thousands of troops to the Middle East

US President Joe Biden has ordered US military forces in the region to help defend Israel against Iranian attack and shoot down missiles.

The White House announced that Biden was monitoring the attack, along with his vice president, Kamala Harris.

The US is sending thousands of troops to the Middle East, as the Pentagon announced earlier, in order to strengthen security and defend Israel if necessary.

"Squadrons of combat aircraft and their personnel will reinforce their presence in the region ," said the Pentagon spokesman.
