Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet with US President Donald Trump at the White House later today.
Today's visit to the White House will be Netanyahu's fourth this year, as Israel faces growing pressure to end the war in Gaza.
Trump has made his position clear, saying on Friday that he "will not allow" Netanyahu to annex the Israeli-occupied West Bank, but that a ceasefire agreement for the war in Gaza was "very close."
Speaking about a deal, White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt confirmed that Donald Trump plans to discuss his plan with Netanyahu when the two leaders meet later today.
She said both Israel and Hamas may have to leave the negotiating table "a little unhappy" in order to end the conflict.
"To reach a reasonable agreement for both sides, both sides have to give in a little and may leave the table a little dissatisfied, but ultimately this is how we will end this conflict," she says.
Despite US claims, over the weekend, Netanyahu said no deal had been finalized, while Hamas said it had not officially seen Trump's proposal.
