Former Dutch ambassador Robert Bosch has reacted to Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabiç, who during a meeting with the United Kingdom's special envoy for the Western Balkans, said that the fulfillment of obligations is a prerequisite for the continuation of normalization with Kosovo. In a post on social networks, he writes that the Government of Serbia does everything to undermine stability in the region.
"Brnabic has nerves! Her government does everything to undermine stability in the region and it blames the other side. For Serbia, normalization means Kosovo under Serbian rule again. They are playing with words like this, it becomes more and more clear. Time that the EU "Let's finally see it!", he wrote on "Facebook".
Tensions increased at the end of May when the Albanian mayors of the northern municipalities of Kosovo took office with the support of the police, after the April local elections which were boycotted by the Serbs, who demand the implementation of an agreement mediated by the European Union to a lot of self-governance.
Following an agreement reached on July 10 in Bratislava in a meeting between Kosovo's chief negotiator, Besnik Bislimi, and the European envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia talks, Miroslav Lajçak, the Kosovo police has already halved its presence in and around municipal buildings in the north .
