Threats to Poland, why did Lukashenko suddenly become 'brave'?!

The military expert also said that the EU must react, as according to him there is a great risk if calculations are made wrong in cases where such threats come, no matter how unlikely they seem...

The president of Belarus is "emboldened" by the presence of the Wagner Group, according to military expert Sean Bell. Even Alexander Lukashenko has "provoked" Poland by telling them "that he is the one who is preventing Wagner from attacking Polish soil".

This has raised Western concerns about the "grave risk" of an escalation of the war, prompting Poland to move up to 10,000 additional troops to the border with Belarus.

" What is alarming about this is that the Belarusian president is full of alarmist rhetoric, this has important implications at a time of high tensions ," Bell said.

Since Lukashenko brokered the deal between Wagner leader Yevgeny Progozhin and Vladimir Putin that ended the former's aborted coup, he feels "he has something with Putin."

The military expert also said that the EU must react, as according to him there is a great risk if calculations are made wrong in cases where such threats come, no matter how unlikely they seem.

It seems increasingly likely that Putin will deploy Wagner's forces in Belarus so that they are out of Ukraine and Russia as he figures out "who his friends were, who his enemies were, and what he was going to do with Yevgeny Progozhin ," added Bell.

As for Prigozhin, Putin has "eroded the power base" of the mercenary boss by splitting his forces between Belarus, Russia and Africa./ SkyNews
