Authorities in Utah have released an image of a person suspected of being the perpetrator of the murder of Donald Trump ally Charlie Kirk.
The Utah Department of Public Safety released a statement along with the image, asking for the public's help in identifying him.
"We are asking for the public's help in identifying this person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University," the release said.

An old-model .30-caliber shotgun was found by FBI agents in the woods near Utah Valley University. The gun was found wrapped in a towel and had one shell still in the chamber and three unused rounds in the magazine, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The ammunition was found engraved with pro-transgender and anti-fascist slogans, according to investigators. The investigation is ongoing as authorities examine evidence and data that could shed light on the motives of the perpetrator.
