The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, through a video communication at the House-Ambrosetti European Forum, said that if Putin really ordered the assassination of Prigozhin then it shows his weaknesses.
Zelensky said that it is impossible to negotiate with Putin because he does not know how to keep his words and promises and that the word of the Russian leader is worthless.
He also said that you cannot trust Putin because Prigozhin's death was a result of the Russian leader's fear of the leader of the Wagner Group.
" If it is true that Putin killed Prigozhin, he is further showing us his weakness. To promise some guarantees to Prigozhin and then kill him shows how weak Putin's words are. It is impossible to go to negotiate with Putin because he does not keep his words and promises. All this confirms that we cannot trust Putin and that his word is worthless. He was afraid of Prigozhin and therefore treated him as we saw, " Zelensky said.
