The United States Army has found itself in an unusual situation, it has asked for the public's help in finding an F-35 fighter jet, which was abandoned by the pilot after a malfunction.
The plane disappeared from radar on Sunday afternoon while flying south of South Carolina. The pilot, whose identity has not been disclosed, parachuted after the accident and is now in the hospital, out of danger for life. The dynamics of the event have not yet been fully clarified.
