The wife of notorious Mexican cartel leader Joaquin El Chapo Guzmán spent the night at a club in Los Angeles, days after being released from prison. The 33-year-old beauty, Emma Coronel Ayspuro had fun at the private party organized in her honor by her lawyer.
She was seen enjoying music by security people after two years of isolation. Aispouro was released Wednesday morning after spending two years in a California rehab facility.
In November 2021, she was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to drug trafficking and money laundering related to her husband's Sinaloa cartel.
He was first transferred to a prison in Texas and then transferred to a prison in California. In addition to the prison sentence, Aispouro paid a $1.5 million fine.
