
A serious incident has been recorded in Greece, where an 89-year-old man entered the Court of Appeals in Athens armed and opened fire.
According to preliminary data, four employees who were inside an office on the institution's premises were injured in the shooting. The injured are not in serious condition.
The perpetrator, for reasons that have not yet been clarified, passed the security check at the entrance with a shotgun and headed towards an office, where he started shooting. Earlier, the same person is suspected of having opened fire at another institution in the Kerameikos area, injuring one person.
Immediately after the incident, several ambulances arrived at the scene and transported the injured to the "Red Cross" hospital, where they are receiving medical assistance.
Greek authorities have launched investigations to clarify the circumstances and motives of the incident.
A similar episode was recorded a few months ago in Albania. During a court session, Elvis Shkambi shot and killed Court of Appeals judge Astrit Kalaja.
