As diplomatic efforts around US President Donald Trump's proposed ceasefire in Gaza continue, Israel's bombing has suffered a decrease in intensity, at least for the time being.
But it is worth noting that despite the decrease in intensity, dozens more people have been injured or killed in Israeli attacks over the past 48 hours, according to Gaza hospitals. While waiting for any news regarding Hamas' response, CNN has published some photos from Gaza, which is hopefully awaiting a deal.
Some residents in Gaza have reported a drop in Israeli attacks today, as negotiators prepare to meet in Egypt for ceasefire talks.
While the relative calm has offered a brief respite for Palestinians CNN spoke to, they said they can still hear explosions and are cautious in their optimism.
