A serious incident has occurred in Turkey, where one of the rivals of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been punched in the face. The video below shows the moment when the chairman of the Republican People's Party (CHP), Özgür Özel, was attacked with punches at the exit of the Ataturk Cultural Center.
He was attending the funeral of DEM MP Siri Sureya Öder.
The suspect was arrested by Turkish police. As it became known, the perpetrator is known to Turkish security for the murder of his children in 2004.
