Former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has reportedly been killed during recent attacks on Tehran by the United States and Israel.
Ahmadinejad has reportedly been killed in airstrikes in the Iranian capital. Iranian authorities have not yet confirmed the former president's death. There has also been no public reaction from the US administration or Israeli authorities regarding allegations of involvement in the reported attacks.
According to reports, the attack hit Ahmadinejad's residence in Narnak, northeast of Tehran, killing him and several of his bodyguards.

Born on October 28, 1956 in Garmsar, Ahmadinejad has an academic background in civil and transportation engineering, holding a doctorate in the field. Before entering high politics, he served in administrative positions and as a provincial governor, and in 2003 was appointed mayor of Tehran.
Ahmadinejad was elected president in 2005, representing a conservative and nationalist line within the Iranian establishment. During his term, Iran faced increased international pressure over its nuclear program, leading to economic sanctions from the United States and the European Union.
His harsh rhetoric against the West and controversial statements about Israel often put him at the center of international criticism. Domestically, he promoted populist policies, promising wealth redistribution and support for the needy.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed yesterday in massive airstrikes carried out by the United States and Israel against Iran. Iranian state television confirmed his death a few hours later.
Khamenei, 86, has ruled Iran for more than three decades. The country has had only two supreme leaders since the 1979 Islamic Revolution. In this role, he wielded supreme state and religious authority, as well as serving as supreme commander of the armed forces, including the Revolutionary Guards.
