Volodymyr Zelensky has reacted against the big Russian attack launched in Ukraine at night.
The Ukrainian president said Russia used cruise missiles with cluster munitions to attack Ukraine's energy infrastructure, calling it a "disgusting escalation", writes Sky News .
"In total, about 100 attack drones and over 90 missiles of various types have been launched," he said.
"Several regions reported Kalibr rocket attacks with cluster munitions, deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure. The use of these grouping elements significantly complicates the work of our rescuers and energy engineers in mitigating the damage, marking another despicable escalation in Russia's terrorist tactics," Zelensky added.
He also repeated his call to Kiev's western allies to provide more air defense and ensure timely deliveries, especially during the critical winter months, as Ukraine struggles to protect its energy infrastructure from attack.
