Israel cuts off humanitarian aid and prepares for the occupation of Gaza City!

Gaza on the verge of total disaster: Military campaign, mobilization of reservists and mass starvation in the besieged city...

Gaza City has been officially declared a dangerous war zone by the Israeli military, bringing an immediate end to the humanitarian pauses that had previously allowed aid to reach the civilian population. The decision coincides with the acceleration of Tel Aviv's military campaign to capture the city, considered Hamas' last bastion and the possible location of the still-living Israeli hostages.

For weeks, Israeli forces have been advancing intensively on the outskirts of Gaza City, targeting major neighborhoods and destroying suspected tunnels linking populated areas to Hamas' military infrastructure. Tens of thousands of mobilized reservists have been involved in the offensive, while the city has become a closed zone to international aid and any form of civilian rescue.

Meanwhile, the humanitarian situation has escalated significantly. Hundreds of thousands of civilians are trapped in the city without food, drinking water and medical assistance. International organizations have warned that in the event of a full occupation, Gaza City would lose more than half of its hospital capacity. At least 322 people have been confirmed dead from starvation, including dozens of children, while the health system is on the verge of collapse.

Despite the dangers, many residents of the city have refused to leave, no longer believing in the promises of “safe zones” offered by the Israeli military. Many are staying in religious sites such as churches and mosques, in the hope that they will not be targeted by airstrikes or ground bombardments.

In this atmosphere of extreme tension, Israel has returned the bodies of two slain Israeli hostages, while government officials have promised that the operation to return the hostages, dead or alive, will continue without interruption. Families of the hostages, meanwhile, have warned that the new offensive could endanger the lives of their loved ones still being held alive by Hamas.

The international community has reacted with growing concern to developments in Gaza. Many Western countries have raised the alarm about the catastrophic consequences of a total occupation and have demanded that Israel immediately allow humanitarian aid to enter. Germany and several other countries have suspended arms exports to Israel, calling for a reassessment of the military course and a political solution through diplomacy.

Meanwhile, on the ground, Gaza City remains a city surrounded by death, hunger, and insecurity, where each passing day brings more victims, more despair, and less hope for peace.
