The 'threats' with EU sanctions "annoy" Vučić, the Serbian

The Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic, has stated during a television interview that he is planning to visit China in October, where he may also have a meeting with the Russian President, Vladimir Putin.

He said he could not give details of what might happen there, but added that his planned visit in October would be of particular importance.

"At the end of this year, I expect to have serious and important talks with our partners which are very important. I will have an important visit to China in October. What will happen there is a big question " , Vucic said on a Happy TV broadcast.

Such a statement comes just a few days after the EU threatened Serbia that it would impose sanctions on it if it did not take appropriate steps to escalate the situation with Kosovo. This has made Vucic revert to his old two-door game, turning his eyes to Putin every time the EU forces him to do something.

Also, the president of Republika Srpska (one of the entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina) Milorad Dodikai said yesterday that he also expects to visit China and meet with Putin this fall.
