The arrival of migrants by boat or dinghy across the Channel to Britain has become an urgent and much-discussed issue in the British government. The British government has even considered withdrawing from the Human Rights Convention if it encounters any obstacles to its plans to send migrants to Rwanda.
Recently, the British Prime Minister has posted a video on Twitter where he shows the 5 steps to fight illegal immigration.
1) Anyone arriving in Britain illegally will not be able to stay no matter how hard they try, given the new laws that are expected to come into effect soon.
2) The British government has signed an agreement with France to stop migrants from crossing the Channel.
The British Prime Minister also said that the agreement with Albania has helped to drastically reduce the number of immigrants arriving in Britain by 90%.
3) Rishi Sunak said he has increased the raid for illegal workers by 50% as well.
4) The farce of illegal immigrants staying in taxpayer-funded hotels will stop.
On the last and fifth point, Sunak said that the only way to stay in Britain will be through illegal routes.
"I know that stopping immigration is a priority for the British and we will leave no stone unturned until we achieve our goal," concluded Rishi Sunak.
