Iran has announced that it has cut off communications with the US. Unofficial channels of communication were established through Oman, which served as a transmitter, since the two countries did not have direct communication.
The news was reported by Iran's semi-official Farsna news agency, which said Iran was not interested in talks until the crisis with Israel was resolved.
" We see no basis for discussions until we resolve the ongoing crisis. After that, we will decide whether to enter into new negotiations and how to proceed ," Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told the agency.
We remind you that the USA has expressed its support to Israel for a response to Iran, for the missile attacks of a few weeks ago.
Occurring in the conditions where the US is not able to impose anything on Israel, Iran has apparently seen the continuation of the talks as unreasonable.
