The date of the Pope's funeral will be decided tomorrow by the Congregation of Cardinals and - as foreseen by the liturgical text - must take place between the fourth and sixth day after his death. That is, between Friday and Sunday.
This was announced by the Vatican Press Office, also clarifying that today the seals will be placed both in Santa Marta and on the third floor of the Apostolic Palace where the Angelus is held.
