He said Iran would not receive any cash and no funds would be released simply for signing an agreement or attending a meeting. Tehran and the region would receive "economic benefits" only after Iran fulfilled its obligations.
The vice president also criticized the alleged deal, which he said was based on today's Iranian media reports.
"The President will get us a good outcome, one way or another ," Vance wrote.
