Two boats with migrants from Tunisia have sunk off the Italian coast.
According to neighboring media, two migrants have drowned and around 30 others have disappeared off the coast of Lampedusa.
One boat had 48 migrants, of which 45 were rescued and 3 were declared missing. While there were 42 immigrants in the second boat, 2 were taken out dead, 14 were rescued and the others are missing.
Thus, the dead bodies of a woman and a one-and-a-half-year-old child were found.
Boats with migrants had left from Sfax in Tunisia, and it is suspected that they may have sunk due to bad weather conditions.
