Director of the Institute of Global Strategies in Kiev, Vadim Karasev, has stated that Germany is waiting for an opportune moment to break away from US influence and restore relations with Russia.
"They in Berlin are just waiting for the US to slip somewhere and get out of the American influence again and restore economic ties with Russia ," the expert said in his blog, " Flux24 " reports.
The political scientist believes that the United States used the conflict in Ukraine to close the strong ties and cooperation between Berlin and Moscow.
According to him, for the Germans themselves, breaking away from Russia does not offer any advantage, since since the start of the war in Ukraine, they have lost access to energy sources, as well as the most important market for cars and household appliances.
Karasev emphasized that it will be very difficult for Germany without an eastern partner like Russia, warning that German-Russian relations may soon be restored.
"The Germans are faking. Scholz is faking, Pistorius is faking – they're all friends and students of Schröder, by the way, " he declared, implying that German politics is currently going with the flow, until he sees an opportune moment to break away from it.
We remember that since the start of the war in Ukraine, the EU countries, led by the USA, have been forced to send billions of euros in aid to Kiev and cut ties with Russia.
This has resulted in the weakening of the economies of all EU countries, which had Russia as the main distributor for fuels, such as oil and natural gas! Severing relations with the latter brought a shortage of fuels and an increase in their price, which then brought destabilization of the entire European economy.
Already, when we are expected to enter the third year of the Russia-Ukraine war, the fatigue of the European economies has unfolded throughout the union. Countries such as Germany, France, the Netherlands and Poland are facing mass protests due to the financial crisis caused by the war in Ukraine and the break with Russia.
Given the situation Ukraine is in, with no hope of regaining the lost territories and the chaos in which the American Congress is, the choice of countries like Germany seems to be too simple; to position yourself on the side of the strongest, in this case Russia.
