The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, has sharply criticized the Western coalition for its stance towards US President Donald Trump, following the recent summit in Washington.
In a post on social media, Medvedev said the "anti-Russian" coalition failed to defeat Trump on his own soil and accused Europe of supporting him unconditionally.
"The warmongering anti-Russian coalition failed to defeat US President Donald Trump on his own soil. Europe thanked him and kissed his ass," wrote the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, on social media, commenting on yesterday's summit in Washington.
"The question is: what tune will the clown in Kiev play about guarantees and territories after he returns home, wearing his green military uniform again?" Medvedev added.
Medvedev's comments reflect tensions and divisions on the international stage over the crisis in Ukraine and US-Russia relations.
