The armed forces of Hamas have recently, through a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), shown what the underground missile depot looks like, as well as footage of the launch.
"We are well prepared for this war and to face all scenarios, including a long war," the Hamas group said.
They add that they will use the hostages to secure the release of people held in Israeli prisons and even some Palestinians imprisoned in the US.
Fighting in Israel and the Gaza Strip continues, while Hamas has taken around 100 hostages and says its objective is to exchange prisoners for Palestinians held in Israel.
About 900 people have died in Israel since Saturday's surprise attack, including 260 people massacred by Hamas gunmen at a music festival. Since Israel began attacking Gaza in response, 704 people have died on the Palestinian side.
The bodies of about 1,550 Palestinian terrorists have been found near the Gaza border, in Israeli territory. This was announced by "Jerusalem Post", on its account on X. The number of Palestinian dead after Israeli attacks has increased to 687, declared by the Ministry of Health in Gaza, while the injured are 3726.
"The Israeli occupation expands attacks against medical teams, health facilities and ambulances, resulting in the death of 5 health workers and the wounding of 10 others with various injuries," the ministry said in a statement posted on Facebook.
International media report that there are 750 missing people and at least 100 hostages in the hands of Hamas. Among them are Americans, Germans and Israeli army officers.
Hamas said civilian hostages would be executed and the killings broadcast if Israel targeted Gaza without warning.
