The Italian media have disclosed new details from the serious event where the husband of the Christian Democrat MEP in Italy Francesca Donato was found without signs of life inside his "Range Rover" type vehicle.
It was the MEP who raised the alarm after her husband Angelo Onorato was not answering the phones and after locating his car with GPS, she notified the authorities.
The authorities are investigating two tracks, murder and suicide.
The architect and owner of a furniture store was found with a plastic band around his neck tightly tightened and blood stains on his shirt.
The Italian media reports that the victim's lawyer has submitted to the police a letter that his client had left for him some time ago.
"If something happens, I would send this letter to my wife," said his lawyer.
