Netanyahu warns: If Hamas wins, the whole world will be in danger!
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

"For Hamas, barbarism not only threatens the Jews, it threatens the Middle East, it threatens Europe, it threatens the world," he continued.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is currently attending a press conference alongside French President Emmanuel Macron. Opening his speech, he says that the Hamas attack on October 7 was "the worst terrorist attack the world has known since 9/11".

"Like Anne Frank, Jewish children hid in attics from these monsters," he said, adding that they were later found and massacred.

The international community is now "united in support of Israel," he said.

"For Hamas, barbarism not only threatens the Jews, it threatens the Middle East, it threatens Europe, it threatens the world," he continued.

Netanyahu described the conflict as "barbarism against civilization". He said that this "is not an ISIS enclave thousands of kilometers away from Europe, it is ISIS on the outskirts of Paris".

"We cannot live like this, we are doing everything we have to do to destroy Hamas in Gaza," he stressed.

The Israeli prime minister warned that the conflict could last but that his country is doing everything it can to avoid civilian casualties.

"When this is over, the people of Israel will rebuild their communities and the people of Gaza will no longer live under the tyranny of Hamas," he said.

Benjamin Netanyahu also said that everyone's lives will be in danger if Hamas wins. He described the militant group as part of an axis of evil that is trying to drag civilization back into the Middle Ages.

"We must score a decisive victory against Hamas," he said.

He threatened "terrible consequences" for Hezbollah in Lebanon if it decides to join the war.

After concluding his speech, Macron said that the fight against terrorism must be merciless and without rules. He said that France and Israel are united by the same suffering, calling terrorism the common enemy of both countries.
