Israelis are very angry and hate Netanyahu. The plea to the Israeli government to agree to a deal has turned into anger.

More than 300,000 people participated in the protest held in Tel Aviv after the killing of six Israeli hostages by Hamas.

The revolted citizens have called for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to reach a cease-fire agreement with Hamas, specifically demanding the release of the hostages.

The organization "Forum of Hostage Families" wrote on the social network X that the people of Israel "demand the return of our brothers and sisters", publishing a photo from the mass protest.

In the published photos, people can be seen lighting fires, while others were holding placards reading: "Bring the hostages home".

Protesters have blocked the streets of the city, while blocking the passage with their vehicles. The protest started a few hours after the tributes for the bodies of the six hostages who were found dead in Gaza.

As protesters pressure Netanyahu's cabinet, Israel's Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has asked the Attorney General to file an urgent court motion to block a general strike planned for tomorrow.

Bezalel Smotrich said the strike would have severe economic consequences and cause unnecessary damage to the wartime economy. The strike was called earlier by the leader of the Histadrut union - the largest union in the country.

Activist Arnon Bar-David called for the one-day strike to put pressure on Benjamin Netanyahu's government and return the remaining hostages being held in Gaza.

Also hundreds, thousands of workers represented by the union, manufacturers, universities and leading entrepreneurs in Israel's high-tech sector also supported the strike.

While the main airport of the country, Ben Gurion, is expected to close from 08:00 local time.

Sky News Middle East Correspondent Alistair Bunkall is in Tel Aviv this evening, reporting on the massive anti-Netanyahu protest.

He says hundreds of thousands of people are already on the streets, but he wouldn't be surprised if the numbers reach 500,000, as organizers have warned.

" I've talked to people and many of them have come from different cities in Israel and will stay up all night just to be part of this protest ," says Bunkall.

He adds that Israelis are very angry and hate Netanyahu. According to the journalist, the plea to the Israeli government to agree to an agreement has turned into anger.

They accuse Netanyahu of politicizing hostages and imposing conditions on cease-fire agreements that Hamas will never agree to.

" Netanyahu of course denies this, but there are risks within his cabinet ," adds Bunkall.

" His own defense minister, Yoav Gallant, has publicly stated that Netanyahu should change his decision to keep Israeli forces in Gaza ", he concluded./ Adapted "Pamphlet", from "Sky News".
