On the eve of the plenary session on constitutional changes, the leader of VMRO - DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski, coordinated with the parliamentary group and the coalition today.
After the meeting, the coordinator of the parliamentary group, Nikolla Micevski, said that they remain in the same position that we will not support the constitutional changes in this format, under the Bulgarian diktat, as he said.
According to him, this process does not even have the support of the citizens.
"Our position has also been stated in the Commission for Constitutional Affairs, where we have argued that the government is moving forward with a process that is not supported by the citizens. We will repeat the same in the plenary session. This session will be a good opportunity to convince the whole opinion that the government has been lying for a whole year, manipulating and everything is a blur about the constitutional changes and that they are not even close to the constitutional changes".
Meanwhile, from the SDSM, they expect all 120 deputies to take charge of their duties and understand the responsibility they have before the citizens.
"This is the last chance for Mickoski to join the pro-European bloc. Mickoski and DPMNE probably have the last chance to show a sense of responsibility to the citizens because our obligation as a politician is to ensure a safe future for the citizens, just like our predecessors who have enabled conditions for us to live in a free and independent state. sovereign, as well as the opposition to join and together create a prosperous Macedonia in which future generations will plan the future at home".
Despite the fact that the Macedonian opposition continues to oppose the process of constitutional changes, the government is optimistic that the changes will be approved. If this does not happen, the Government has warned that the country may go into isolation.
