The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, has commented on the letter of the opposition addressed to the High Representative of the EU, Josep Borrell, in which they demand that the sanctions related to the attack in Banjska be applied against him and not against Serbia.
According to politica.rs. , Vucic expressed his shock and according to him this is a unique case in the world that someone from the opposition demands sanctions against a president.
"It has never happened that the opposition asks a country for sanctions against the president, it is an inappropriate, frivolous, anti-state, anti-people approach, I was shocked. When it asks for sanctions against the president of a country, then it creates a bad image for the country and this affects investments and everything else. The opposition says that "the fault is not of Pristina and Albin Kurti, but of Serbia", Vucic said.
The President of Serbia also commented on the visit of senior officials to Belgrade on October 21. Vucic said that he cannot talk about details, since this is the agreement, but according to him, their ultimate goal is the recognition of Kosovo.
