The Israeli military spokesman has announced that 13 Hamas hostages will be released on Saturday, while in exchange Israel will release 39 Palestinian prisoners.
The numbers are the same as Friday.
Earlier, Egyptian officials said Hamas would release 14 hostages on Saturday in exchange for 42 Palestinian prisoners held by Israel. Under the deal, Hamas will release one Israeli hostage for every three prisoners released.
While Egypt was optimistic about the extension of the cease-fire in Gaza. According to Cairo, there are positive signals from all parties regarding the extension of the ceasefire in Gaza.
"The country is holding extensive talks, an extension of the ceasefire could lead to the release of more prisoners in Gaza and Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons," added Diaa Rashwan, head of Egypt's State Information Service.
