Horrifying images come out of Gaza every day, with Palestinians living in extreme conditions due to lack of food and drinking water. Footage released today shows queues for bread in southern Gaza, while food shortages continue.
Humanitarian conditions in the south are deteriorating, with food, water and electricity increasingly scarce. Although Israel has focused its ground offensive in northern Gaza, there are growing indications that it will now expand its operations to the south.

Israeli forces have dropped leaflets near Khan Younis telling people to evacuate. Similar leaflets were dropped over the north signaling the beginning of the land invasion.
It comes as the Israel Defense Forces chief of staff says his forces are "close to dismantling the military system" that was present in northern Gaza. According to survivors, two houses east of Khan Younis were hit by Israeli strikes late yesterday and early this morning.

A reporter from the Associated Press news agency testified that three dead and dozens of injured, including infants and small children, from today's strike were brought to the city's main hospital.
Yesterday's attack killed 11 members of a family that had fled the main fighting zone in northern Gaza. Southern Gaza is home to hundreds of thousands of people who have heeded Israel's calls to evacuate the north./ SkyNews
