Jens Stoltenberg from 19 to 22 November 2023 will have a tour in the Western Balkans...
A day after the rumors that Russia is trying to open a war center in the Balkans, the head of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, has immediately set in motion. The latter will hold a round of meetings in our region, sending a message to Moscow that NATO will not allow any kind of conflict.
According to NATO, Jens Stoltenberg from November 19 to 22, 2023 will have a tour in the Western Balkans, where he will first visit Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, then Serbia and North Macedonia.
In the press release, it is announced that on Sunday, November 19, the Secretary General of NATO will travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he will meet the members of the Presidency.
Meanwhile, on Monday, November 20, the Secretary General will continue his trip to Kosovo, where he will have a meeting with President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti, reports Telegrafi.
Stoltenberg and Osmani will hold a press conference at 16:10.
He is also able to visit the "Nothing Hill" KFOR camp, where he will meet with the KFOR commander, Major General Ulutaş, and address the KFOR troops.
Stoltenberg will also meet with the Director of the NATO Advisory and Liaison Team, Brigadier General Hammerstein.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, November 21, the Secretary General will be in Belgrade.
Later that day, Stoltenberg will travel to the Republic of North Macedonia to meet with President Stevo Pendarovski and Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski.
The Secretary General will also meet with the Speaker of the Assembly of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, and will deliver a speech in front of the Assembly.
On Wednesday, November 22, the Secretary General will attend a meeting with leaders from the region.
The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, the President of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Milojko Spajic, and the Prime Minister of Slovenia, Robert Golob, have been invited to participate.
The day before, it was the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, who said that according to intelligence sources, Russia is trying to create another hearth of conflict, this time in the Balkans. According to him, after the Middle East, Moscow aims to weaken the US by creating trouble in our region. It seems that Stoltenberg's visit is also related to the increased Russian danger in the region.
