The war escalates in the Gaza Strip, over a thousand people under the rubble;

On the ninth day of the conflict, the number of victims has increased significantly.

Israel has taken stock of the victims and those killed by Hamas attacks. More than 1,400 people are reported to have been killed and another 3,500 injured. Meanwhile, it is reported that at least 120 people have been kidnapped.

While the Palestinian side's civil defense team claims that over 1,000 people are reported missing under the rubble of buildings destroyed by Israeli airstrikes in Gaza. Through a statement, the team announces that many more have been pulled alive from the rubble in the last 24 hours after the attacks on the buildings.

Netanyahu "invites Biden to Israel"

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has invited US President Joe Biden to Israel, according to The Times of Israel. Netanyahu reportedly wants President Biden to show solidarity with Israelis by visiting during the current conflict.

The White House is apparently considering the invitation, Sky News reports.

President Biden will be the first head of state to visit since the October 7 Hamas attack that killed nearly 1,300 Israelis, most of them civilians.

Hezbollah escalates the situation on the Israel-Lebanon border

An Israeli military spokesman said Hezbollah is escalating the situation on the border with Lebanon to thwart Israel's counteroffensive in Gaza.

Admiral Daniel Hagari said Israel is prepared to fight on two or more fronts "if required".

Israel announced today the opening of a new corridor for the evacuation of civilians in the Gaza Strip. In the new order of the Israeli army, the crossing corridor was open from 10:00 to 13:00, while civilians were called to go to the south of Gaza.

" Today we inform you that from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Israel will not hit the route indicated by our map to reach that area. For your own safety, take advantage of this short period of time to go south ," military spokesman Avichay Adraee said.

There have been reports that Hamas is preventing the escape of civilians to the south of Gaza, while Israel has accused it of using the people as protection.

As the Israeli army announces that it is nearing the end of preparations for a "significant ground operation" in the Gaza Strip, but is waiting for civilians to leave, tensions have also increased on Israel's northern border with Lebanon. An Israeli civilian was killed nearby by a rocket fired from Lebanon. After the killing of the civilian, the Israeli army announced that they had attacked Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. 

" No one can guarantee the control of the situation if Israel occupies Gaza ," said the Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amirabdollahian, in a meeting last night in Doha with the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.

Israel restores water to southern Gaza

Israel has turned water back on to southern Gaza a week after blocking the pipelines. White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said in an interview with CNN that Israeli officials informed him that the water pipes are working again.

Israel cut off water to Gaza after Hamas launched its surprise attack last weekend to carry out one of the deadliest attacks in Israel's history. Earlier, representatives of Israel announced that "water will not be released to Gaza until the hostages are released."

More than 100 targets were struck overnight by Israel, including Hamas command centers, military facilities and missile detection and launch sites. The Israeli military says it has killed the commander of the Palestinian militant group Hamas, who led attacks on Kibbutz Nirim and Nir Oz last weekend. He was killed in an airstrike carried out thanks to the intelligence work of the Shin Bet agency and the Directorate of Military Intelligence.

In Egypt, an aid convoy has been waiting for hours to enter Gaza through the Rafah crossing. In recent days the checkpoint has been closed due to Israeli aerial bombardment of the Gaza Strip, which has reportedly damaged the Palestinian side of the crossing. This has prevented people from leaving or entering Gaza through the checkpoint.
