Turkish President Recep Tayyip Ergogan declared from the Parliament in Ankara that after Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, Israel intends to invade Turkey.
In his speech, the Turkish head of state criticized the international community and the Islamic world, saying that no one stops Israel from continuing this destructive war against civilians in Gaza and Lebanon:
"Acting under the delusion of the promised lands, after Palestine and Lebanon, Israel with complete religious fanaticism will set its sights on our homeland. I say this with complete conviction.
Regardless of the cost, Turkey will continue to stand against Israel and calls on the world to join this honorable stand. We the Turkish people will never leave the Lebanese people alone during this difficult time and we will support them with all our means."
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been one of Israel's harshest critics regarding the war in Gaza, calling on the world to stop killing innocent civilians. The Turkish head of state has also promised the same support for Lebanese citizens.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry announced this Tuesday that it has created a coordination center to help Lebanese citizens who want to leave their country. Evacuation plans included modes of transportation by sea and air as well.
