Israel's President Isaac Herzog, during the Davos forum, revealed his vision for the region after the war in Gaza.
He said that the work will start with the reconstruction of the enclave, then with a dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians and the normalization of relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia.
"We need to see on the horizon a coalition of nations that are willing to commit to rebuilding Gaza in a way that, number one, enables Israel's security and well-being. Number two, it enables the security and well-being of the Palestinians and brings a future - another future to Gaza ," he said at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
He also said he believed normalization with Saudi Arabia was the key to exiting the war into a new geopolitical environment.
" It is delicate, it is fragile, it will take a long time, but I think it will provide the opportunity to move forward in the region towards a better future. It's a game changer ," Herzog said.
