Why are the Anglo-Saxons silent and pretending to be fools with Vucic about
Vucic, Lajcak and Escobar

If the official Belgrade supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, and the Serbs draw a parallel between occupied Crimea or Donbas and occupied Kosovo? Because if you support Russia's actions (Donbass and independent Crimea, ie their annexation to Russia), then you must agree that Kosovo also has the right to independence and, ultimately, possible annexation to Albania.

In the 19th century, the British philosopher and political theorist John Stuart Mill explicitly mentions imperial Russia and the need for European civilization to prevent it from conquering neighboring countries. Therefore, Russian President Vladimir Putin's account of the Anglo-Saxon plot against his country is not without a historical motive.

If we remember 2014 and the Russian annexation of the Crimean peninsula, then the poisoning of the Skripal family with the Novichok nerve agent on British soil and all the behind-the-scenes actions of British and Russian sports officials in connection with the organization of 2018, then it becomes quite clear why the blade of Putin's anti-Western propaganda is directed precisely against the Anglo-Saxons.

But where are Vučić and Serbia in all this?

If we take into account, as mentioned above, the serious threats of leaders listed with sanctions against Russia due to non-compliance with ius cogens (imperative norms of international law), the question arises, how is it possible for Serbia to remain outside the list of sanctions?

Shortly after the start of the "special military operation" in Ukraine, as Russian officials commonly call the total invasion of the neighboring country, several large rallies in support of Putin and Russia were held in Belgrade. In one of the largest, held on March 4, 2022, i.e. immediately after the start of Russian military action in Ukraine on February 24, in front of several thousand people, organized by far-right movements such as "People's Patrols" or "Svetosavaski Zavez Obraz", slogans could be heard against the Anglo-Saxon aggressors (indicative coincidence with the rhetoric of the Russian propaganda machine), against the actions of the NATO alliance, namely the LGBT population.

Although the Republic of Serbia on March 2, 2022, at the session of the UN General Assembly, accepted the UN Resolution expressing regret for the Russian occupation of Ukraine, neither President Vucic, nor Prime Minister Brnabic, nor anyone from the first level of the Serbian political stream did not comment negatively on the context of the mentioned right-wing gatherings.

On the contrary, it is precisely in the electronic and written media under the direct or indirect control of Vucic that hundreds of statements have been published to date that defend the aggressive policy of the Kremlin in the most banal and strange ways, placing all the blame for the war on Anglo-arrogance. Saxon and the destructiveness and tyranny of the NATO alliance, or even the unreasonable provocative policy of the Ukrainian state leadership.

The silence of the Anglo-Saxons about Kosovo and Ukraine

Serbian ministers, above all Vucic's executors and megaphones like Vulin and Dacic, promised in a pathetic tone that Serbia would never impose sanctions on Russia, because it had put the Serbian people in debt by not recognizing Kosovo and blocking the acceptance of her at the UN. , and that the Russians had to respond to Anglo-Saxon provocations.

Vučić himself on several occasions, sometimes in extraordinary media conferences, sometimes through his television channels with national frequencies, deep in thought, staring somewhere in the distance (near the camera or the eyes of the bewildered presenter), clearly shocked, with voice that would tremble depending on the words spoken, he promised the citizens that Serbia, as long as he is their president, will never impose sanctions on fraternal Russia.

Because of history, because of origin, because of Orthodoxy, because of Kosovo.

Perhaps also because Russia is against liberal democracy, the rule of law, equality.

Apart from the fact that Serbia, as a country that is in the process of membership negotiations with the European Union, is obliged to harmonize its foreign policy with the current foreign policy of the European Union itself. Therefore, the Anglo-Saxons and their successors are silent and pretend to be fools: from the special envoys of the USA and Great Britain for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar and Stuart Pich, to the American ambassador in Belgrade, Christopher Hill. And when the Anglo-Saxons are silent, so is everyone else.

A bolt in the sky

Amid significant silence from Western partners and incessant reiteration by Serbian officials of Serbian loyalty to their Russian brothers, with occasional right-wing Serbian rallies with Russian flags and portraits of Vladimir Putin, news agency Reuters reported on April 12. 2023 echoed like a thunderbolt.

Citing a classified Pentagon document, one of the world's most prominent news agencies, based in London, published part of a classified document titled "Europe - Responding to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine," in which Serbia reportedly refused to provide training to Ukrainian forces, but has pledged to send military aid or has already delivered it. The document further states that Serbia has the political will and military capabilities to provide weapons to Ukraine in the future as well.

Upon this knowledge, the Anglo-Saxons were forced to break their silence. The Pentagon said that it is very possible that the Ukrainians get some of their weapons from Serbia, although they do not have "first-hand" information about this, and then the US embassy in Belgrade got involved in the whole incident, saying that they cannot comment on the alleged confidential information, but that to their knowledge, "Serbia does not sell arms to Ukraine."

Confused Russians also spoke in the form of Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, who "expressed the deepest concern at the news of Serbia's alleged arming of Ukraine" and declared that "Moscow will ask Belgrade for a official position regarding the newly created situation".

Vucic and Zelensky in Athens

Because if you support Russia's actions (Donbass and independent Crimea, ie their annexation to Russia), then you must agree that Kosovo also has the right to independence and, ultimately, possible annexation to Albania.

On the other hand, Vucic was able to ask the interlocutor in the light of the latest information that Ukraine may recognize Kosovo, what is the logic of this now. Because if you recognize Kosovo as independent, and Serbia thinks that it seceded in violation of public international law, isn't it completely logical that it also recognizes the right of Donbass and Crimea to secede. abbreviations from Danas
