Workers recount the moment of the massacre in Athens: He wanted to take revenge

The employees who witnessed the massacre that happened in a Greek transport company are scared and shocked by this event.

They have described the moment to the Greek media, when the former Egyptian employee of the company entered the offices on Artemisiou Street and attacked the "bosses", as they say.

One of the employees said they were in their offices and heard shots, but did not understand what was happening. A senior employee of the company, of Egyptian origin, who has been fired for a long time, wanted to take revenge on the bosses. He yelled at everyone to leave. He did not want to hit any of the workers. Only the bosses. So, aimed at them. He shot two bosses and an employee who approached him trying to calm him down.

He entered with a short-barreled carbine and a revolver. When he entered the company, he did not take out his gun, he was carrying a bag. Then the workers say that they were hiding under the table until the police went to the scene.

Another employee of the company said that he was on the first floor, everything that happened was on the second floor. He heard the first two shots, went to the stairs and saw two workers coming down and shouting "it's Aris with a gun and he's shooting!".

He said that he saw him entering the company as he is near the entrance but also that he knows his car as they had worked together for a long time. No one knew if he was fired but they knew he was retired.
