Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it had carried out a missile attack on institutional targets in Israel, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office and the Israeli Air Force command headquarters.
According to a statement quoted by the Iranian Tasnim news agency , the attack was carried out with "targeted and unexpected missiles" and hit the mentioned facilities "heavily".
"The office of the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime and the headquarters of the Air Force commander were attacked and severely hit by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic in targeted and unexpected missile attacks," the statement said.
In the same communication, the Revolutionary Guard claims that Prime Minister Netanyahu's survival remains "uncertain," without providing additional details on his condition or the concrete consequences of the attack.
So far, Israeli authorities have not publicly confirmed whether the prime minister's office or the Air Force's central command were hit, nor have they provided information on possible damage or casualties.
This development comes at a time of high tensions in the Middle East, following reports of successive attacks between the parties. For two days, since the American attack on targets in Iran, the region has been facing an escalation of the security situation. International media reports of increased military readiness and warnings of further reactions, while the international community calls for restraint and a reduction in tensions.
The situation remains unclear and developments on the ground are expected to determine whether the conflict will expand further in the region.
