"They continue to kill children, they are not human." This was the position of the famous Italian actor, Roberto Benigni, who was invited to the show "Propaganda Live" on La7, regarding the wars currently taking place in the world. The show dealt with the conflict in Ukraine, the situation in Palestine and Gaza, as well as the tragedies in the Mediterranean Sea.
Benigni also highlighted the lack of a "true European Union", which, according to him, could have helped prevent such events.
He also recalls the words of Joe Biden, who after the October 7 attacks called on the Israeli government not to respond to "horror with more horror," a call that, according to Benigni, was not heeded.
During his presentation, he erupted when addressing the issue of child victims of war, stating: "when children play at war, as soon as one of them gets scratched, the game stops. But why do they continue to kill children?"
