
A Russian Air Force Tu-22M3 strategic bomber crashed today in the Irkutsk region of Siberia, the Defense Ministry in Moscow announced.
According to a statement from the Russian Defense Ministry, the four crew members abandoned the plane before it crashed in a deserted area.
However, one crew member was found dead.
The crash of the Russian bomber is attributed to mechanical failure.
