Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the Wagner mercenary group, has fled the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don with his soldiers.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has survived an immediate threat to his power after mercenary group leader Wagner agreed to end his insurgency against the Russian military. 

Everything happened so fast that it was not understood.

In the blink of an eye, Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the mercenary group Wagner, who fought on the front line in Ukraine, shocked the network.

"I will hang Sergey Shoigu in Red Square and bury him in Vladimir Lenin's mausoleum."

With these harsh tones at their peak, he announced to the world that the Shoigu Defense had struck a Wagner camp and left hundreds of soldiers dead.

For this, he would seek immediate revenge and began the return of troops to Russian territory, where in less than three hours, he took the first city with 1.1 million inhabitants, without encountering any resistance.

The agreement was then reached and Yevgeny Prigozhin left the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don with his soldiers.

The 24-hour chaos in Russia that caught the attention of the whole world;

- Yevgeny Prigozhin canceled the march of his Wagner troops in Moscow late Saturday night after negotiations with Putin ally and Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko.

- He also agreed to leave Russia for Belarus and the Kremlin has said it will not pursue prosecution against him or Wagner's fighters.

– The deal de-escalates a major security crisis for Russia.

- Putin had even warned of civil war on Saturday in a national address, calling Prigozhin's actions "treason".

– But by Sunday morning, Wagner's troops had withdrawn from Rostov-on-Don, the southern military command they had captured on Saturday.

- Ukrainian President Zelensky says that the revolt has revealed "complete chaos" in Russia and that "Russia's bosses do not control anything".

- The leaders of the USA, Great Britain and the EU say they are monitoring the situation closely.

- Washington was reportedly informed of the rebellion plans as early as Wednesday, US media reports.
