The Ukrainian president's parents were found with $11 million in deposits in their accounts and the anti-money laundering authority is investigating their origin...
The corruption scandal in Ukraine, involving senior officials from President Volodymyr Zelensky's circle, is just the tip of the iceberg, as new names are emerging from the spotlight as investigations by anti-corruption authorities advance.
And not by chance. They belong to the Ukrainian president's close family circle. Reports from Ukraine, citing independent networks, claim that anti-corruption investigators have recently examined deposits worth $11 million, linked to President Zelensky's parents, which were reportedly deposited into their accounts during 2025.
In fact, as part of the investigation, a search of their apartment was planned, but it was interrupted after the intervention of the president's office.

However, according to Europa Today's report, the NABU (National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine) check took place on June 30 and the Ukrainian president's parents, Oleksandr Zelensky and Rima Zelenska, were initially detained and then released.
During interrogation, they were asked about the origin of the money, while stating that it was a "gift".
According to the same media outlet, almost immediately after this there was a phone call to the head of NABU from the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, and the matter then took a back seat.
