Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said that we will do everything we can to reach a Russia-Ukraine peace agreement.
He said that "we support American initiatives and will do everything we can to ensure a direct confrontation between Zelensky and Putin."
"The G7 Foreign Ministers' meeting has just ended. Today is the anniversary of Ukraine's independence and this meeting also had symbolic significance; we wanted to send a clear message of unity in support of Ukraine's independence. The main issue is ensuring Ukraine's security after a desirable peace agreement ," the minister said.
