The Israeli army has begun to enter Gaza. The "IDF" has published images showing that a large number of tanks have entered the Palestinian territory.
Hamas' media center reported heavy clashes with Israeli forces, including tanks, in several locations near the border fence.
The Israeli army said it had carried out raids and attacks with the aim of "preparing the ground for the next stages of the operation".
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has issued a statement saying that his military operation in Gaza will continue until there is a new order in the area.
On the other hand, Israel has given an ultimatum for the evacuation of the residents, since according to them, the hour of the ground attack has come.
IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said: "For your immediate safety, we call on all residents of northern Gaza and Gaza City to temporarily relocate to the south."
He added: "The return to northern Gaza will be possible after the intense hostilities end."
The spokesman said Hamas is putting civilians at risk by positioning its forces in schools, mosques and hospitals.
"The upcoming IDF operation is set to neutralize the Hamas threat with precision and intensity. Your window to act is closing, move south for your own safety. This is not just a precautionary measure, this is an urgent plea for the safety of civilians in Gaza," he said.
Meanwhile, Hamas has said that it sees the possibility of releasing the 8 hostages after a request made by Moscow.
Abu Marzouk, a Hamas official, told the Russian state news agency RIA that the foreign ministry had submitted a list of eight names, all of whom held dual citizenship.
"We are very attentive to this list and will treat it carefully because we see Russia as our closest friend," said Marzouk.
