One person died and seven others were injured last night when a Tesla car that appeared to be carrying fireworks caught fire and exploded outside President Donald Trump's Las Vegas hotel.
Regarding the case, the head of Tesla Elon Musk reacted, who said on Wednesday that the explosion had nothing to do with the car's system.
" We have now confirmed that the explosion was caused by a large amount of fireworks and/or a bomb kept in the bed of the rental van and is unrelated to the car itself. All telemetry of the vehicle was positive at the time of the explosion," he wrote in "X".
Law enforcement officials have not ruled out terrorism as a possible motive, said a person familiar with the matter, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to publicly discuss details of the investigation.
