
A tragic event was recorded yesterday evening around 22:40 in Naples, Italy, where a balcony built with a metal structure was detached from the building and fell down. As a result, two people lost their lives, while 13 others were injured, seven of them children. One of the children is in critical condition.
The victims are a 29-year-old man, who died instantly, and a 35-year-old woman, who died after being hospitalized. Two women aged 53 and 35 were admitted to the same hospital for injuries sustained from the fall of the balcony.
At Mare Hospital, a 40/50-year-old man with cerebral hemorrhage and fractures and a 23-year-old woman with fractures, while a 25-year-old woman is in intensive care.

There is a 28-year-old man with tachycardia in the San Paolo hospital. The minors hospitalized in Santobono are between 2 and 8 years old with fractures, head trauma or bruises.
The police have launched an investigation for 5 people, while the firefighters immediately arrived at the scene and dug through the ruins for other people.

Terrified residents described the moment the balcony collapsed, which they described as sounding like an earthquake accompanied by a loud noise.
" We were having dinner, we had opened the doors from the heat. Suddenly we heard a very loud roar, like an earthquake. Then a loud noise like iron scaffolding fell, water pipes broke. I have 4 children, we locked ourselves inside I was afraid that it was the safest place. Then we all ran away from the balcony. It was terrible ," said one of the residents of the area.
