The number of victims from the collapse of the tent at the Railway Station in Novi Sad has increased to 12, Interior Minister Ivica Dacic told TV Pink.
At around 4:00 p.m., rescue teams pulled a 14-year-old girl and a woman from the wreckage at around 4:30 p.m. Both have been sent to the Clinical Center of Vojvodina, "Danas" informs.
The girl who was pulled out is in a stable condition, while the condition of the woman is not yet known.
" Among the victims was a six-year-old child ," said the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ivica Dacic.
He added that the victims are still being identified.
" Three people are in serious condition ," said the director of the Clinical Center of Vojvodina, Vesna Turkulov.
A part of the tent in front of the entrance to the railway station in Novi Sad collapsed around noon today and the mayor of the municipality of Novi Sad, Milan Gjurič, has already confirmed that over 30 have been injured.
